Q: What's scarier than dying?
A: Public speaking.
Did you know that most people fear speaking in public more than DEATH?
Not me!
I'm thrilled to be doing more speaking and workshops lately. In fact, my summer AND fall calendar is filled with fun podcast interviews, online and in-person webinars and workshops, guest spots and MC duties.
In May, the Elmbrook LAUNCH program invited me to share some wisdom with their students, and it was a total blast! I really enjoyed engaging with the juniors and seniors at Brookfield East, and from the feedback I received, the feeling was mutual!
This was a wonderful group of highly engaged students interested in careers as teachers. They graciously shared some of their versions of an ideal future, and I'd like to share a few of my favorites with you:
When my life is ideal, I am helping others.
When my life is ideal, I am surrounded by loving, fun people who challenge me.
When my life is ideal, I am spending time with my family.
When my life is ideal, I am watching the sun rise with brisk, cold air.
When my life is ideal, I am comfortable with my thoughts.
When my life is ideal, I am following God.
When my life is ideal, I am taking road trips.
When my life is ideal, I am giving hugs and smiles.
When my life is ideal, I am appreciating the little things.
When my life is ideal, I am surrounded by lots of plant life.

Coming up in August, The Distinguished Young Women of Wisconsin has invited me to run a Passion Test workshop for their Class of 2024 State Week. This means that I get to help even more young people get clear about their purpose in life so that they can be confident about their path forward.
Also in August, I’ll be presenting a female-focused topic to The Dames of Wisconsin as their entertainer. That’s going to be fun!
In September, I will be the MC for Warrior Unchained: Live in Wisconsin Dells. I’m really looking forward to this event because it’s amazing, and I want to help all the speakers make the biggest impact possible. Will you join me?
